General information document to be reviewed by legal counsel in light of the publisher’s circumstances.

Optional audience measurement — Google Analytics 4

  • The public website uses Google Analytics 4 only after you agree and if the stream for its environment is configured. No Analytics script or event is sent before acceptance.
  • Google Analytics uses cookies and a pseudonymous browser identifier to measure French and English commercial pages, language, permitted sources and campaigns, and Google Play clicks. Transmitted paths contain no parameters or fragments. No Traknio account, workout or health data is attached. Google receives technical connection information; this measurement is not anonymous.
  • Accepting and refusing are equally accessible. The choice and cookies for this integration expire after no more than 180 days. The Privacy and cookies button lets you change or withdraw your choice. Withdrawal blocks new transmissions, removes this integration's Analytics cookies and reloads the page. Cookies required for login are not affected.
  • The recipient is Google Ireland Limited and its processing providers. Processing outside the European Economic Area may occur under Google's data processing terms: https://business.safety.google/adsprocessorterms/. Information about Google's processing: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. Google Signals and advertising features are not enabled by this integration. User and event data retention is set to two months without resetting on each activity; aggregated reports are not subject to this limit. Test data must be distinguished from Production data.

1. Controller and contact

  • Traknio is published by CorsaiManager (referred to below as “Traknio” or “we”). Additional professional identification information is provided in the Legal notice.
  • For questions about personal data or to exercise a right: contact@traknio.com. For product support: support@traknio.com.
  • This policy describes Traknio's processing for the public website, web application, and Android and Wear OS applications. It is not personalised legal advice.

2. Data we process

  • Account data: email address, name or display name provided during Google login, technical account identifiers and profile preferences needed to access the service.
  • Training data: programs, exercises, workouts, sets, weights, repetitions, rest times, history, goals entered and progress measurements that the user chooses to record.
  • Technical and usage data: information strictly necessary for operation and security, such as login or synchronisation dates, integration status, the device providing synchronised data, and limited technical logs.
  • Subscription data: access status, access period and technical subscription or purchase identifiers. Traknio does not receive full payment card numbers.
  • Depending on the features used, profile and progress information may include the age, height, weight and other body measurements you enter. If you choose to upload a progress photo, Traknio processes that photo and its associated date and view so that you can find it in your progress tracking. Photos are stored in private Vercel Blob storage; their metadata is linked to the account. Access to photos passes through a Traknio access check.

3. Health and activity data

  • Health and activity data may be sensitive data under applicable regulations. It is processed only when the user activates the relevant connection and grants the requested permissions on their device.
  • Health Connect: Traknio reads only heart rate, sleep, total calories burned and distance authorised by the user. Traknio does not currently use step data through Health Connect.
  • Heart rate may be used to present a recovery indicator and contextualise personal statistics. Sleep duration may contribute to the recovery indicator. Total calories burned may contribute to daily statistics and the recovery indicator. Distance may be recorded as an activity and progress metric.
  • Wear OS: workout data and actions performed on a compatible watch, such as confirmed sets, weights, rest and workout calories when transmitted, are synchronised with the account to maintain continuity between phone and watch.
  • Samsung Health: when the relevant synchronisation is offered and activated, Traknio may receive the same currently supported metric categories: heart rate, sleep, calories and distance. Samsung Health is not required to use Traknio.

4. Data from third-party services

  • Google: authentication is used to create or link the Traknio account. Data received is limited to the identification information needed for the account.
  • Spotify: if the user voluntarily connects Spotify, Traknio may process the profile information needed for that connection and encrypted access tokens to provide the intended playback controls. Access can be disconnected in Settings.
  • Payments: web payments, when offered, are processed by Stripe; purchases in the Android application follow Google Play mechanisms. These providers process payment data under their own policies. Traknio retains only the information needed to manage access and evidence of the subscription.
  • TikTok: no TikTok login, TikTok scopes or collection of end-user TikTok data is currently implemented in Traknio. If the publisher uses TikTok to publish or manage its own communications, this does not link an end user's TikTok account to Traknio. If an end-user integration is added later, this policy will be updated before activation to describe the applicable data, purposes, revocation and deletion arrangements.
  • When you use the assistant, your question, page context and excerpts from the help knowledge base are sent to OpenAI to prepare a response. Your question may include information you enter; avoid unnecessary personal or health information. When you use Coach, calculated training metrics and, when included in the analysis, recovery information and declared limitations may be sent to OpenAI. These transmissions are used to provide the requested feature.

5. Purposes, legal bases and optional processing

  • Providing the requested service, including the account, training, synchronisation, Premium access and assistance: necessity for performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps.
  • Processing optional health data: the user's explicit consent, obtained through activation and device permissions. Refusal or withdrawal does not prevent use of functions that do not depend on that data.
  • Protecting the service, preventing abuse, correcting incidents and defending our rights: legitimate interests, while respecting individuals' rights and freedoms.
  • Meeting a legal obligation, including accounting or tax requirements where applicable: legal obligation. Data requested to create an account or provide a purchase is necessary; health and Spotify integrations and optional content are not.

6. Recipients, processors and transfers

  • Access is limited to authorised people at Traknio and the technical providers needed to deliver the service: hosting and deployment (Vercel), PostgreSQL database (Neon), Google authentication, Stripe or Google Play payments, Spotify when activated by the user, and OpenAI when the user uses an AI feature offered by Traknio.
  • We do not sell personal or health data. We do not disclose it to third parties for behavioural advertising.
  • Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. In that case, appropriate safeguards under applicable regulations, such as an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses, are sought with the provider concerned.

7. Retention and security

  • Account, training and synchronisation data is retained for the life of the account, then deleted or anonymised under the process described on the Data deletion page, subject to legal retention periods and security needs.
  • Subscription data and supporting records are retained as needed to manage access and, where required, for accounting, tax obligations or dispute management. Technical logs are retained for a limited period proportionate to security and diagnostic needs.
  • We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures: restricted access, authentication, encryption of integration secrets, HTTPS communications and separation of access according to need. No system can guarantee absolute security.
  • Progress photos are optional and are retained for your tracking until deleted. Traknio controls access to them. Individual photo deletion is offered in progress tracking to accounts with the required access. If this action is unavailable, you can request deletion from support, including after Premium expires. Account deletion in Settings first attempts to remove photos from private storage; if this step fails, the application reports the failure and does not complete account deletion. You can contact support@traknio.com. Propagation and retention periods for any technical copies depend on the providers; this notice does not guarantee immediate erasure of every copy.

8. Your rights and deletion

  • Subject to the conditions of the GDPR, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection and, where applicable, portability of your data. You may withdraw consent to health data processing at any time without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing.
  • To exercise a right, email contact@traknio.com, identifying the account and your request. Reasonable identity verification may be requested. You may also lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority, including the CNIL in France.
  • The process for deleting an account and associated data is available without logging in on the Data deletion page. Integrations can be revoked in Traknio Settings or the third-party service where supported.

9. Minors, cookies and changes

  • Traknio is not intended for people below the age at which they can independently consent to processing their data under applicable law. A minor must use the service with authorisation from their legal representative where required.
  • The public website offers optional Analytics measurement based on your consent as described above. No advertising cookies are used. Technical cookies or storage may be necessary for login, security and service operation. If non-essential trackers are added, information and, where necessary, a consent mechanism will be provided before use.
  • We may update this policy to reflect changes to the service or regulations. The update date will then change; appropriate information will be provided for a substantial change.
